2 Projects Shortlisted in THE PLAN Award 2022

Two Bruner/Cott projects have been shortlisted in THE PLAN Award 2022 – Frost Terrace and the Charles River Speedway.
THE PLAN Award is an annual international competition that recognizes excellence in the fields of architecture, interior design, and urban planning. This year, it attracted over 1200 entries from architecture studios around the world.
Frost Terrace, a transit-oriented, 100% affordable housing development in the heart of Porter Square, Cambridge, is shortlisted in the Housing category. This project combines new construction with the creative reuse of three existing, historic houses to create 40 housing units for low- and middle-income families in a desirable urban neighborhood.
Shortlisted in the Mixed-use category is the Charles River Speedway, a transformative reuse project that combines historic preservation and forward-thinking sustainable design to reposition a 19th-century racetrack and police station into a vibrant community asset and mixed-use destination in the Allston-Brighton neighborhood of Boston.
