AEC Excellence Awards 2017 – Finalist Announcement

Competition co-sponsors, Autodesk, HP, Construction Dive, and Smart Cities have announced the 2017 AEC Excellence Awards finalists.
Bruner/Cott is extremely proud to have been selected as a top 8 finalist in the Sustainability category, for the R.W. Kern Center at Hampshire College.
This announcement sets the stage for the unveiling of the competition’s winners at Autodesk University 2017 in Las Vegas on November 14, 2017. During this event, winners will be celebrated for their achievements using Connected BIM workflows on innovative projects. Awards will be presented alongside special guest presentations from industry experts and thought leaders. Anyone attending Autodesk University is welcome to attend this event, but advance registration is required.
2017 Entries by the Numbers
- 145 submissions
- 32 countries represented – China had highest number of overall submissions, followed by USA and the Netherlands
- 4 Categories: Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each category
Finalists Announced
“I’m thrilled with the finalists for this year’s AEC Excellence Awards,” said Nicolas Mangon, Vice President AEC, Autodesk. “The groundbreaking nature of these international projects shows how the AEC industry is rapidly embracing connected BIM technologies. Our 2017 competition finalists truly represent the future of making things for the AEC industry.”
It was a tough job for the independent, global panel of judges to evaluate all 145 submissions and narrow down to the top 8 “best-of- the-best” finalists. Watch for the big announcement of the winning entries on November 14, 2017 at AU Las Vegas!
