Frost Terrace Featured on America ByDesign

Newsroom / February 15, 2026 by Bruner/Cott

We’re excited to share that Frost Terrace, our 100 % affordable family housing community in Cambridge, MA, has been featured in an episode of America ByDesign, the CBS‑aired series that celebrates design excellence and the impact of architecture on communities across the US.

Located in Porter Square, Frost Terrace weaves together historic homes and contemporary architecture to create high‑quality, transit‑oriented affordable housing for 40 families. The project thoughtfully integrates three preserved historic structures with new construction and a human‑centered landscape, demonstrating how thoughtful architecture can enrich neighborhoods and everyday life.

The America ByDesign series, produced in partnership with the American Institute of Architects and broadcast on CBS, spotlights exemplary architectural work that enriches communities and underscores the value of thoughtful design in everyday life. Featuring Frost Terrace on the show helps bring national attention to innovative affordable housing solutions and the ways in which design can support equity, sustainability, and social impact.
